GOVERNANCE

The Steering Committee and the Secretariat ensure the smooth running of the Australia Indonesia Governance Research Partnership. The Steering Committee oversees the selection of research projects and young scholars and provides AIGRP with strategic directions. The Secretariat is responsible for the day to day running of AIGRP.

The Steering Committee is made up of researchers from institutions around Australia and Indonesia as well as government officials from both countries. The Steering Committee meets twice a year - early in the year to discuss strategic directions and in December following the annual Policy Research Forum. At this meeting selection for the following year takes place.
